READ TO ROVER AT HATCH LIBRARY IN 2011
CWNAS sponsored its 4th Read to Rover program this year. Certified therapy dogs, Bella, Lily and Onyx were at the Hatch Public Library on September 26, October 3, and October 10, 2011 to lend an ear to school age children who wanted to practice their reading skills to them. Children read to a dog for 15 to 20 minute blocks. Children completing the program received a 'Rover Reader' certificate and a small token as a reward for being a good reader.
